The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Director of Name Image and Likeness Services. This is a career full-time position with a targeted annual salary range of $80000.00 - $85000.00 with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. The Director of Name Image and Likeness Services reports directly to the Senior Associate Athletic Director NIL Operations & Cap Management. The major duties include serving 650 undergraduate student-athletes across twenty-five sports coaches staff and other key stakeholders on University resources policies and requirements pertaining to name image and likeness (NIL). Communicating with and guiding student-athletes DIA coaches and staff as needed through a variety of NIL inquiries; and collaborating with multiple campus partners and within Athletics to develop and implement a comprehensive NIL program that ensures all student-athletes have the ability to maximize on their NIL opportunities. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating program needs and effectiveness to contribute to long-range planning of services. Additional duties may include serving on committee groups delivering ongoing education to student-athletes via student-athlete meetings and mid-year orientations and other duties as assigned by Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director NIL Strategy & Initiatives. This position will comply with department university conference NCAA and state regulations in all activities.

All applicants should demonstrate the following abilities: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; Experience with University Conference and NCAA rules and regulations; Ability to work in a fast paced multi layered business organization with a variety of constituents and colleagues both in the department on campus and outside the organization; Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals of various social cultural economic and educational backgrounds; Incumbent must be able to effectively communicate and work cooperatively with other University departments in a complex administrative environment; Capability to work independently and prioritize assignments in a manner accurately reflecting the relative importance of job responsibilities without constant supervision; Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and collaborate with coaches staff administrators and campus community; Strong aptitude in using various software applications including Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and Access; Demonstrated ability to perform duties with great degree of accuracy meeting deadlines working efficiently under conditions of frequent interruptions and fluctuating workload; Incumbent must be trained in managing and organizing personnel equipment and material resources in order to provide the most efficient working environment; Ability to analyze situations and systems identify problems and implement solutions impartially consistently and fairly; Understanding of when to make decisions on immediate problems within prescribed scope of authority based on knowledge of policies and procedures including pertinent NCAA rules and regulations; General knowledge of financial and personnel policies principles and procedures in a central administrative University setting as well as general management principles; Knowledge of state University and department policies practices and procedures; Demonstrated writing skills to complete concise effective and grammatically correct administrative reports policy statements procedures and correspondence.
