Job Description

Join us as a Quality Assurance Manager at Agrisera in Umeå where youll play a critical role in building and strengthening our quality infrastructure. Youll establish and lead the batch release process for antibodies and hyboligos while enhancing core quality processes including Non-Conformance CAPA Document Control and Change Control. As a key strategic partner youll collaborate closely with headquarters in Uppsala to align quality management systems across sites and with Thermo Fisher ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. This position reports to the Head of Quality Assurance at PSX in Uppsala.

A Day in the Life:

  • Your impact will extend across the organization as you develop and implement procedures.

  • Contribute to establish a Design Transfer processes from R&D to Supply Chain.

  • Support critical product development initiatives.

  • Provide quality metrics drive process improvements and support the implementation of an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).

  • Working with the Supplier Quality process and aligning standards across sites youll be instrumental in reducing lead times mitigating risks and enabling efficient operations that directly impact customer satisfaction and business success.

Technical Qualifications

  • University degree in Life Science related field for instance biotechnology biology or chemistry.

  • Several years experience of working with quality related tasks within Life Science.

  • Experience of systematic quality work based on an established quality standard e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 13485 ISO 17025 or GxP.

  • Strong understanding of quality systems including document control change control deviations CAPA.

  • Knowledge of risk management tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Full working proficiency in both Swedish and English.

  • Proficiency with quality systems software (TrackWise document management systems)

Soft skills

  • Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing.

  • Participate in external and internal audits.

  • Demonstrated ability to guide and foster quality culture across organizations.
