Contract Manager T-7A

Do you want to be part of a global Business Team delivering the new T 7A Red Hawk Fighter Trainer for the US Air Force Saab designs produces and delivers fully installed aft fuselages and is expanding the team to meet the programs ambitious schedule.

Your role

In this role you will together with the Contract Responsible govern the execution of the T 7A contract and identify new business opportunities. We are in an exciting phase of the programme with ground and flight test activities and the first batch of aft fuselages being produced at our new facility in WestLafayette Indiana.
The position involves frequent international travel to meet customers suppliers and project partners across Europe and the United States ensuring alignment on contract requirements technical specifications and delivery schedules.

You will be a valued member of the T 7A Business Team based in Linköping. While the role primarily focuses on contract governance and commercial activities we value flexibility and collaboration and youll occasionally partner with other functions to help achieve the teams objectives.

The main tasks are:

• Develop and maintain the business relationship with Boeing.
• Monitor analyse and report contract status providing commercial expertise.
• Negotiate contract amendments and scope changes.
• Draft and negotiate business agreements.
• Participate in FAR/DFAR working groups and other project assignments.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved in accordance with the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements certain citizenship requirements may apply where applicable.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong business acumen and a proven track record of delivering commercial or contract results in aerospace or defence.

• Experience:5years of contract or commercial management preferably in an international aerospace or high tech environment.
• Skills:analytical thinking strategic planning negotiation stakeholder management.
• Languages:Fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
• Personal traits:committed collaborative structured thorough and persistent.
