About the job
As Compliance and Purchasing Manager for Indirect Material & Services you will play a central role in ensuring that Alfa Laval Technologies AB operates with strong governance and full compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements. You will act as a bridge between compliance sourcing and business operationsmaking sure that the organization not only meets its obligations but also creates value through structured and strategic purchasing.
This is a new role and you will play a key role to build up the structure and network for IM&S in Sweden
Working closely with global category managers you will lead IM&S sub-commodity activities for one or more legal entities within Sweden Your focus will be on driving alignment across user organizations leveraging scale and strengthening supplier performance while safeguarding the companys integrity.
Beyond governance the role is hands-on and influential. You will support and guide stakeholders across the business on compliance matters ensuring that sourcing practices contracts and business principles are consistently followed. You will also contribute to building a strong compliance culture by providing training maintaining clear procedures and ensuring that processes are well understood and applied in daily operations.
You will collaborate cross-functionally including with customs compliance to ensure full adherence to trade regulations and act as a key representative of Group Sourcing at a national level. Through supplier engagement internal alignment and participation in broader sourcing initiatives you will help strengthen both operational efficiency and long-term value creation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain compliance frameworks aligned with internal policies and external regulations
- Lead internal network of buyers of IM&S in the business
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization
- Investigate compliance deviations manage reporting and ensure effective resolution and remediation
- Ensure adherence to sourcing policies contracts and category strategies across IM&S user organizations
- Lead sourcing activities for new IM&S demands in collaboration with global category managers
- Drive supplier optimization including negotiations capability development and performance management
- Lead KPI collection and reporting for IM&S sourcing performance at national and regional level
About You
You bring a strong sense of ownership when it comes to governance compliance and doing things the right way. You are comfortable operating in a role where you both set direction and ensure follow-throughbalancing structure with pragmatism to make compliance work in a real business environment. You build trust through your integrity and your ability to communicate clearly even when topics are complex or require challenging conversations.
At the same time you understand the realities of a global matrix organization. You know how to work across functions align different stakeholders and create buy-in without relying on formal authority. You are analytical and structured in your approach with a natural ability to identify risks connect the dots and turn insights into practical actions.
You are equally comfortable engaging in sourcing discussions when needed ensuring that commercial decisions are aligned with policies and long-term value creation. You bring a mindset of continuous improvement and are motivated by creating transparency strengthening processes and delivering measurable impact across the organization.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to industrial technology and manufacturing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions
- High integrity and a strong sense of ethics
- Experience with strategic sourcing and negotiations
- Understanding of IM&S sub-commodity structures and supplier optimization strategies
- Ability to lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable improvements
