Job Summary

DEPARTMENT PURPOSE: The Pipeline Growth and Readiness team contributes to the mission by creating a wide and deep pool of highly engaged donors to programs and units across Oklahoma State University by helping donors discover their philanthropic passions and implementing strategic tactics and partnerships to aid donors in realizing their full philanthropic potential.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position supports University Programs by assisting in unit-based tasks analysis of various data files of prospects and donors and providing event and program support.


KEY AREAS OF FOCUS:
Support University Programs Team-

  • Provide administrative support for the Pipeline Growth and Readiness Team.
  • Analyze lists provided by Prospect Research and other sources for Pipeline Growth and Readiness prospective donors.
  • Analyze and review gift records and lists to clarify data on Pipeline Growth and Readiness appeals and projects.
  • Perform follow-up calling for pledge fulfillment.
  • Provide support for Pipeline Growth and Readiness campaigns direct marketing Digital Experience Officers.
  • Develop robust skills in troubleshooting and research of internal documents and constituents utilizing OSUF resources (Ascend PGR reports.)
  • Perform online research projects pertaining to OSU and peer institutions.
  • Create email and digital copy for Pipeline Growth and Readiness.
  • Provide support for programming and events related to Pipeline Growth and Readiness efforts.
  • Develop compelling written content for Pipeline Growth and Readiness use.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Give Orange OSUs Day of Giving.
  • Assist in managing and responding to inquiries through the Pipeline Growth and Readiness email and phone line.

Other duties as assigned.


JOB COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
Education & Certifications-

  • Current full-time enrollment in a bachelors or graduate degree program.


Experience-

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills with basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Driven to collaborate and service-minded.
  • Available 25-29 hours pers week Monday through Friday.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate effectively in person by phone and via video conferencing. Requires frequent repetitive motions when operating computers telephones and standard office equipment. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer attending meetings or participating in events. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support fundraising events and donor engagement activities. Ability to lift carry push or pull materials weighing up to approximately 20 pounds.
