Financial Analyst E (9-P11)
The role is responsible for creating and overseeing annual spending plans and quarterly financial projections. It involves monitoring and correcting revenue and expenditure activity establishing account coding and reporting systems and providing technical information to program management for assigned appropriations.

Financial Analyst A (12)
As the senior level budget liaison responsible to perform revenue and expenditure monitoring analysis and forecasting; coordinate and maintain accounting and reporting systems for revenues and expenditures; research compile and interpret financial legislative and policy information; develop annual spending plans and the annual budget request for programs in the HHS Information Technology Section. Provide technical expertise to program management on all financial related issues.

Education

Possession of a bachelors degree in any major with at least 12 semester (18 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: accounting finance or economics

College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.

The physical location of this position is the Grand Tower Building at 235 S. Grand Ave. Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:

• A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
• A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
• Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
