Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr. on W2 (Depending upon the experience)

MOI: One time Virtual and then last round onsite.

Job Description

  • Data Security and Scanning Expertise
  • Understanding how data discovery and classification tools (e.g. ) operate is critical to effectively configure scans and interpret results.
  • Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Enables the analyst to align scan outcomes to policy requirements assess risk and support reporting and escalation processes.
  • Data Analysis and Validation
  • Needed to assess scan accuracy identify false positives/negatives and ensure results are reliable for decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Essential for working with application and data platform owners to explain findings answer questions and drive remediation actions.
  • Tool Tuning and Optimization
  • Critical for improving scan precision and coverage by refining rules classifications and detection logic based on findings.
  • Workflow and Automation Tools examples (Jira PowerBI Tableau)
  • Supports tracking of issues automation of workflows and development of dashboards for reporting and program visibility.
  • Data Processing and ETL Concepts
  • Enables efficient ingestion transformation and analysis of scan data to generate actionable insights.
  • Documentation and Process Design
  • Required to create clear process flows requirements and audit-ready artifacts supporting the scanning program.

  • Supports productivity through AI-enabled research summarization and analysis while ensuring compliance with data handling standards.

  • Helps manage multiple concurrent deliverables enforce governance routines and ensure timely disposition of scan results across stakeholders.
In This Role Candidates Will
  • Work in Cybersecurity as part of the Information Protection Scanning team with responsibility for helping to provide business expertise to configure and execute data scans.
  • Collaborate effectively with Information Protection Engineering team members to analyze and validate scan results.
  • Collaborate effectively with Information Protection Engineering team members to make recommendations to tune scanning tool.
  • Work effectively with owners of data platforms and applications to validate scan results.
  • Work effectively with owners of data platforms and applications to address their questions with any scan results that are sent to them.
  • Follow up with owners of data platforms and applications to ensure timely dispositioning of scan results.
  • Capture any requirements needed for any systems modifications.
  • Attend key meetings and capture accurate actionable minutes to ensure alignment and follow-through.
  • Support scanning program and general inquiries by researching triaging and drafting responses to email and Jira requests.
  • Use AI tools for activities such as research summarization drafting analysis and decision support.
  • Use AI ethically and responsibly in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) principles related to Information Security policies.
  • Experience with automated workflow tools including PowerBI Tableau and Jira.
  • Skills in data automation ETL processes and visualization.
  • Experience with AI-based classification and document scanning tools.
  • Strong documentation skills including design diagrams process flows and content writing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and cloud service providers (AWS GCP Azure).
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently and influence across organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated foundational AI literacy to effectively use approved AI tools to support everyday work.
  • Familiarity with data privacy security and data-handling standards when using AI tools.
Job Expectations

  • Retrieve and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data reduction and processing to generate actionable insights.

Must Have Required Qualifications
  • 4 years of Information Security Analysis experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience training military experience or education.
  • 2 years in a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) role with experience in policy adherence monitoring report development and escalation.
  • 2 years of Data Security and Scanning Expertise.
  • Understanding how data discovery and classification tools (e.g. ) operate is critical to effectively configure scans and interpret results.
In This Contingent Resource Assignment Candidates May
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Analysis and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Analysis deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Analysis challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Analysis deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Analysis.
Required Qualifications
