Help shape Payments strategy by turning client profitability data into executive-ready insights that drive decisions. Lead the buildout of scalable self-serve dashboards and automation to replace manual reporting. Partner globally with senior stakeholders to strengthen controls data quality and commercial outcomes.
As a VP within Payments Client Profitability Planning and Analysis you will own end-to-end client profitability reporting and insights translating WCP data into standardized scalable outputs for senior stakeholders. You will modernize reporting through dashboarding automation and migration from Tableau to Qlik establishing strong design performance lineage and access standards. You will lead the monthly WCP close and control environment to ensure trusted well-governed and repeatable profitability reporting across regions.
Job Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Payments client profitability reporting and insights converting WCP data into executive-ready narratives and outputs.
- Define the target reporting product including KPIs and views by segment region and country and drive the roadmap to scalable standardization.
- Deliver profitability driver analysis (e.g. mix pricing variance expense methodology changes) and identify top/lowest performing clients for Sales actioning.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for senior leaders and convert repeatable requests into automated outputs and self-serve dashboards.
- Curate reference materials and connect stakeholders to relevant datasets and dashboards across the ecosystem.
- Create and maintain methodology documentation and a client profitability explainer to build trust and reduce rework.
- Build and scale a self-serve dashboard suite with cross-filtering and drilldowns to replace manual Excel and legacy reporting.
- Automate recurring reporting (e.g. actuals and YoY/period comparisons) to support decommissioning of legacy reports.
- Lead migration of reporting from Tableau to Qlik and set standards for design data lineage performance access and export/retrieval.
- Lead monthly WCP close execution including control checks issue management reconciliations and stakeholder communications.
- Establish SLAs governance routines and remediation tracking to continuously improve controls and data quality with minimal manual intervention.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field.
- Bring 9 years of experience in Financial Services FP&A profitability or financial analysis roles.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of revenue and expense drivers allocation rules and fixed/variable concepts.
- Apply advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to deliver executive-ready analysis and storytelling.
- Utilize dashboarding and analytics tools (e.g. Qlik Tableau) and work effectively with broader BI/data tools.
- Lead complex deliverables with strong analytical critical thinking and project management capabilities.
- Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Leverage experience migrating dashboards between BI platforms and defining enterprise reporting standards.
- Apply knowledge of capital allocation concepts and balance sheet constraints in profitability contexts.
- Demonstrate strong control mindset across close processes reconciliations and documentation practices.
- Drive automation and process redesign to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
- Translate complex profitability topics into clear actionable themes for Sales and product stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in global models with stakeholders across regions and time zones.
- Challenge the status quo and initiate continuous improvements to data quality and user experience.
