Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a long-term travel assignment in a pediatric hospital setting. This role follows a 7-on/7-off schedule and supports inpatient pharmacy operations in a collaborative healthcare environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
The position will initially be scheduled on night shifts and later transition to a day shift schedule to provide coverage support during a leave period.
Key Responsibilities
- Review verify and dispense medications for inpatient populations
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Monitor medication therapy for safety accuracy and effectiveness
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
- Support pediatric inpatient pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives
- Accurately document medication activities within the EMR system
Requirements
- Active Texas Pharmacist license required
- Previous inpatient pharmacist experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight operations
