PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Position Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician you will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to our clients. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications maintaining inventory levels and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

- Maintain proper storage and labeling of medications

- Process prescription orders and ensure all necessary information is complete and accurate

- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information

- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries and requests

- Order and stock medications and supplies

- Perform inventory checks and help with medication recalls

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Follow all safety and quality assurance protocols

- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently

- Familiarity with pharmacy laws and regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in computer and data entry skills

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work schedule may include evenings weekends and holidays. The Pharmacy Technician will primarily work in a pharmacy setting which may involve standing for extended periods lifting and carrying heavy objects and working with various medications and chemicals.
