Downer is looking for a skilled Telecommunications Technician / Rigger to join our Auckland team working across live cellular networks that keep New Zealand connected.

In this handson role youll support the build upgrade maintenance and fault response of 2G 3G 4G and 5G sites. Youll take ownership of your sites work safely at height and deliver quality outcomes for major telecommunications customers. Travel and callout work will be required depending on project needs.

Ngā pūkenga matua What Were Looking For

Youre a practical safetyfocused technician who takes pride in doing the job right. Youll bring:

• Certificate in Rigging (Intermediate or Advanced preferred)
• Working at Heights certification
• NZ Certificate in Telecommunications (Level 3) or equivalent industry experience
• Experience working on cellular towers and radio equipment
• Confidence installing antennas MHAs combiners and completing sweep/PIM testing
• Full clean NZ Drivers Licence (Class 2 an advantage)
• Willingness to be part of a callout roster and travel as required
