Job Title: Unit Public Affairs Representative
Job Type: (Remote)
Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This individual will be responsible for managing the public image and reputation of our company and its units through strategic communication and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote the company and its units to the public
- Manage the companys social media presence and create engaging content to increase brand awareness
- Act as a liaison between the company and the local community building relationships and promoting positive partnerships
- Coordinate and attend community events and represent the company in a professional manner
- Monitor and respond to any public feedback or inquiries addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets to promote company news and events
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and news and use this knowledge to enhance the companys public image
- Prepare and distribute press releases and other materials to media outlets as needed
- Assist in crisis communication and management ensuring the companys reputation is protected at all times
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations preferably in a real estate or property management industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation
- Knowledge of media relations and crisis communication strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
