We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our growing orthopedic specialty practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a high-volume scheduling environment thinks quickly on their feet and takes pride in keeping patients and providers organized and on track.

This is not a quiet desk job it is a fast-moving team-oriented role where strong communication multitasking and problem-solving skills truly matter.


What Youll Be Doing

  • Managing high-volume incoming calls and patient scheduling
  • Coordinating provider schedules templates and appointment flow
  • Optimizing schedules while balancing patient access and provider availability
  • Troubleshooting scheduling conflicts and urgent patient needs
  • Communicating proactively with clinical staff regarding patient concerns or scheduling issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients providers hospitals and coworkers

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare scheduling environment required
  • Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a busy call center or high-volume scheduling environment preferred
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems required
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a close-knit team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
