This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential healthcare services and support to our patients while working in a collaborative environment.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological care ensuring the health and well-being of women throughout various stages of life. You will have the chance to engage with a diverse patient population contributing to our mission of enhancing community health.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine check-ups screenings and diagnostic tests
- Manage prenatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers
- Perform necessary surgical procedures as required
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in on-call duties as needed
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills and experience in Ob/Gyn practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
Clinic Schedule: 8:30a-5p
Call Requirement: 8a-8a
Setting: Clinic and call
Daily Volume: 15-20 patients
Monthly Delivery Volume: 50
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
