Azure Lead Engineer

Azure Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Azure services SQL microservices and full stack development to lead cloud modernisation efforts for the Treasury Management System migration as part Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and Bicep to standardize Azure resource provisioning. Monitor troubleshoot and optimize application and database performance. Apply cloud resiliency and security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality secure and performant solutions. Stay updated with Azure certifications and evolving cloud te. Nice to have exposure to Power Automate Power Apps and PowerShell. Strong experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies. Ability to work effectively in teams with diverse backgrounds. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Ability to work with minimal supervision across multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines. Uphold governance and best practices on SharePoint and intranet experience with Azure services including App Service Functions Web Jobs and Azure SQL. Experience architecting and migrating microservices to Azure. Knowledge of Azure security including RBAC Managed Identities and Key Vault. Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration. Expertise in React HTML5 CSS3 and backend development using C# Core. Strong SQL and Azure SQL engineering skills including performance tuning optimization and database schema design. Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform for Azure resource management. CI CD experience using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated deployments and IaC with ARM Bicep and Terraform. Strong understanding of cloud security and resiliency best practices. Azure certification AZ 104 or higher. Proficiency in C# .NET and REST API development. Experience with Oracle and SQL databases. Full stack technologies including and C#. Expertise in React JS jQuery HTML5 CSS3 AngularJS and experience with Git version control and branching strategies. Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments. Strong requirement analysis skills. Experience designing UI for portals search content management systems business process platforms and enterprise collaboration systems. Basic understanding of infrastructure landscapes including databases and web servers such as IIS. Ability to estimate work accurately and deliver to realistic deadlines.
