Summary
The National Nutrition Foundation a leading not-for-profit with a history spanning 45 years invites applications for the position of Program Officer within the Healthy Eating Advisory Service (HEAS) team. The Program Officer is pivotal in supporting program deliveryand implementation activities for HEAS and across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide project and administrative support to the Healthy Eating Advisory Service team and other programs asrequired including health promotion and public health nutrition initiatives.
- Assistwith the review update and development of resourcespresentationsand tools.
- Support the review and application of relevant guidelinesframeworksand policies across supported settings.
- Contribute to planningtrackingand reporting activities for funded programs.
- Assistinmaintainingthe telephone and email advisory service for organisations including early childhood services schools hospitals sport and recreation facilities and community organisations.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with external stakeholders including health professionals and partner organisations.
- Support the developmentmaintenanceand administration of digital tools such asFoodCheckerand eLearning platforms.
- Assistwithmaintainingdatabases including applying classification criteria and ensuring accuracy of data.
- Assistwith digital development projects including investigating issues performingtestingand providing feedback.
Key Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in nutritiondieteticsand/or health promotionor public health.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and critical analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to organise tasksset goals and targets meetdeadlinesandmanagecompeting demands.
- Demonstrated abilityusing MicrosoftprogramsincludingExcel PowerPoint Word and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability tocreate resources using Canva.
- Demonstrated experience applying logic analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Rights to work in Australia.
