Summary:
The School Holiday Program starting in April in Western Sydney New South Wales offers an engaging and supportive environment for persons with disabilities during their school holidays. This temporary casual role is designed for individuals who are passionate about disability support. As a member of our team you will play a vital role in facilitating fun and educational activities that promote social interaction and personal development among participants.
Running 6th to 21st April
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities for participants during the school holidays.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the program.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among children fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Communicate effectively with participants parents and staff to ensure a smooth operation of the program.
- Assist with administrative tasks including attendance tracking and reporting any incidents or concerns.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
- Previous experience in a childcare disability or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
- WWC & NDIS paid worker screening checks.
