About the Team & Business Line:

At Citco the Architecture team drives the adoption of modern AI and cloud-native technologies across the enterprise. As an AI Intern you will work closely with senior architects and engineers on AI research rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development across Generative AI machine learning and cloud platforms.

About the internship

This internship experience is hands-on. You will research emerging AI capabilities support the team in building working prototypes experimenting with models and data pipelines and helping translate ideas into practical scalable solutions.

This internship is ideal for students who have (through their educational program) learned the strong fundamentals are fast learners and possess values such as curiosity.

Besides participation in AI research and experimentation the internship can include:

• Support the development of AI proofs of concept (PoCs) and small prototypes

• Assist in working with structured and unstructured data (e.g. text documents diagrams technical notes)

• Contribute to Generative AI experimentation and prompt design under guidance

• Help evaluate model outputs document and present to the team the findings

• Support the team with basic integration of AI components using existing APIs

About You:

• You are a student enrolled in an education that is in the related field such as:

  • Computer Science

  • Engineering

  • Data Science

  • AI / ML or related discipline

• You enjoy learning new technologies

• Where possible through your education academic journey previous internship or work experiences and/or personal development journey you have:

  • obtained some hands-on experience of working in a team

  • gathered an understanding of for example Git basics GenAI APIs Python programming data structures and algorithms and ML concepts.

  • strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • some exposure to generative AI concepts

• You have a basic understanding and feel comfortable working in a cloud-based environment in the financial services or enterprise systems
