Job Summary

At National Star we realise the aspirations of adults living with complex physical and learning disabilities. The people we support are currently looking for care and support workers to join long-term residents and students we support at Bradbury Gardens situated close to Pittville Park in Cheltenham have a wide range of learning and physical disabilities. Like other young people of the same age many of them love fashion listening to music shopping watching sport and socialising with their a member of the care and support team youll:Help with personal care including washing dressing and mealtimesAccompany and support our residents and students in their daily activitiesRecord and share with families the progress made towards personal goals and aspirationsKeep in touch with family and friends so residents can spend time together/chatAdminister medication to residents after receiving relevant youre positive and passionate about empowering people with disabilities then youre exactly who were looking for. Whether its the big moments some of us take for granted or the small triumphs that others wouldnt expect together we focus on whats possible for every person we support and recognise that the connections we make today are the memories of tomorrow. Its their life. You make sure theyre busy living it. Due to the specific intimate care needs of our residents at this time we are only looking for female care and support staff.
