Internal Audit Executive

Our client is seeking an Internal Audit Executive to support the coordination and administration of internal audit engagements. This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and an interest in process improvement and digital tools.

Location: On-site - Mosta

Responsibilities:

As an Internal Audit Executive your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate internal audit projects and engagements

• Gather organise and maintain audit documentation

• Support senior auditors during audit planning and execution

• Prepare and update project status reports

• Assist with administrative and operational audit-related tasks

• Use and adopt AI-based tools to improve efficiency and workflows

• Ensure documentation and audit activities are completed accurately and on time

• Support compliance with local regulatory requirements and IIA Standards

Requirements:

• 12 years of experience in a similar role

• Previous experience using Scoro will be considered an asset

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Copilot

• Strong organisational and coordination skills

• Background in project coordination or business analysis will be considered an asset

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
