Senior Auditor – Internal Audits

A boutique advisory firm in Malta is seeking a motivated Senior Auditor Internal Audits to join their growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to develop professionally while contributing to a collaborative close-knit environment. You will manage client interactions carry out audits and ensure that all processes comply with regulatory and AML standards.

This is an office-based role with a salary up to 45K.

Role & Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to understand their operations and requirements

• Conduct internal audits with a focus on AML and compliance frameworks

• Document audit findings clearly and professionally

• Prepare audit reports with actionable and accurate recommendations

• Assist clients in enhancing processes based on audit outcomes

• Ensure all work aligns with AML regulations local rules and professional auditing standards

• Utilize AI-based tools to streamline audits and improve efficiency

Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience in auditing compliance or AML in Malta

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Practical experience with MFSA or MGA-supervised entities

• Familiarity with Scoro and other AI tools

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications

• Strong knowledge of AML and regulatory compliance requirements

• CIA certification is a plus

• Solid analytical problem-solving and multitasking abilities

• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
