Business Teaching Role in an Outstanding Academy Sixth Form
An outstanding academy sixth form in Salford is seeking to appoint a Business Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a high-performing setting that focuses on academic achievement employability skills and progression to higher education.
Business is a popular subject within the school and sixth form with students studying areas such as marketing finance operations and strategic decision-making.
About the Role
You will teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering lessons that develop students analytical thinking commercial awareness and understanding of real-world business environments.
Students will be prepared for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations through structured teaching case study analysis and extended written work.
You will support students in developing independent learning skills and confidence in applying business theory to practical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5

Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations
Assess student work and provide detailed feedback

Contribute to departmental planning and shared resources
