Economics Teacher

You would be working in a successful Business and Social Sciences department teaching Economics at GCSE and A-Level. The department is well-established and highly regarded within the school with strong academic outcomes and high levels of student engagement.

Students are encouraged to develop analytical thinking commercial awareness and evaluative skills through a broad and engaging curriculum covering microeconomics macroeconomics and current economic issues. Lessons are designed to encourage discussion independent research and confident essay-writing skills.

The department works collaboratively to deliver high-quality teaching and provide targeted support to students of all abilities. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment opportunities including enterprise activities intervention programmes and wider school events.
