Senior Salesforce Technical Solution Architect

Role Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect to lead enterprise-scale Salesforce architecture initiatives within the IT Customer Engagement organization. This role will drive solution design integrations governance and delivery across Salesforce Energy & Utility Cloud and Experience Cloud platforms.
The architect will partner closely with business stakeholders developers product owners and enterprise teams to deliver scalable secure and high-performing Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across:
  • Salesforce Energy & Utility Cloud
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Integrated enterprise platforms
• Define architecture integration patterns data models and non-functional requirements
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices

Technical Leadership

• Lead integrations with external systems using APIs middleware and ETL tools
• Guide development teams on:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Components
  • Visualforce
  • Salesforce Flow
  • Platform design patterns
• Conduct design reviews and architecture governance

Platform Governance

• Establish standards for:
  • Security
  • Release management
  • Environment strategy
  • CI/CD processes
• Evaluate AppExchange and third-party solutions

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support planning estimation risk assessment and delivery lifecycle activities

Documentation & Mentorship

• Maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• Mentor developers admins and junior architects

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 years of Salesforce experience
• 6 years in Solution Architecture or Technical Leadership roles
• Strong expertise in:
  • Salesforce Energy & Utility Cloud
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Apex
  • Lightning
  • Visualforce
  • REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with:
  • Middleware tools (MuleSoft Dell Boomi Informatica)
  • ETL and enterprise integrations
  • CI/CD and DevOps
  • Release management
  • Security and performance optimization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility industry experience
• Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Application Architect
  • System Architect
  • Integration Architecture Designer
  • Platform Developer I/II
  • CTA (plus)
