Job Summary

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across office shop and field teams. This role is critical in ensuring projects are executed efficiently on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a full understanding of project scope including plans specifications logistics materials and equipment
Oversee project schedules and ensure deadlines are met across multiple jobs
Coordinate submittals shop drawings and project documentation
Work closely with shop and field teams to ensure proper fabrication and installation
Manage workflow between estimating project management and field operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with superintendents subcontractors and clients
Assist with estimating and bidding when needed
Ensure quality control by verifying materials and installations meet approved submittals
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
Monitor job costs labor productivity and overall project performance

Qualifications

5 years of experience in construction operations project management or a similar role
Experience in commercial glazing facade or construction trades strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
