Job Summary
Full Job Description
- Salary starting at $85000.00 and will increase based on the experience of the candidate.
- Estimated HVAC project costs for residential commercial and mixed-use buildings ranging from $10K to $3M in scope.
- Interpreted blueprints specifications and scope documents to produce accurate material takeoffs and labor costs.
- Collaborated with project managers and engineers to develop competitive bids and value engineering proposals.
- Maintained strong vendor relationships to ensure accurate pricing on materials and subcontractor quotes.
- Identified cost-saving opportunities and helped reduce average bid variance by 15% over two years.
- Used estimation software (e.g. Trimble FastPIPE PlanSwift) for digital takeoffs and bid submissions.
- Attended site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess project feasibility and gather critical information.
- Participated in project meetings and site visits to collect essential data and clarify project requirements
- Work closely with the Bid Coordinator and estimating team to manage the bid calendar and ensure timely submission of proposals
