Job Summary
A construction company is seeking a hands-on Estimator to produce accurate and timely cost estimates for civil site and foundation projects. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to align estimates with market conditions and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret construction drawings and specifications to develop detailed estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor materials and equipment. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Support bid preparation submission and documentation. Assist in identifying risks and benchmarking costs against market trends.
Requirements: 3 years of estimating experience in civil construction or sitework. Strong proficiency in takeoffs and estimating software/tools. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
Preferred Background: Experience with heavy civil infrastructure and foundation projects.
Work Environment: Full-time on-site position.
