Job Overview
The Senior HSE Advisor is responsible for overseeing Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance across facilities. This role provides leadership in driving a strong safety culture ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate standards and leading the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
The position plays a critical role in advising site leadership supporting operational teams and ensuring that all HSE processes training and continuous improvement initiatives are effectively executed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee HSE compliance across facilities
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
Promote a strong safety culture and act as a key HSE leader on-site
Ensure compliance with local regulations company policies and industry standards
Develop implement and monitor HSE procedures and programs
Conduct risk assessments audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Ensure all employees meet HSE training and competency requirements
Monitor HSE performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness at all times
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations standards and best practices in manufacturing environments
Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) implementation and maintenance
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with a proactive safety mindset
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Science or a related field
NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
Minimum 510 years of HSE experience preferably in manufacturing or oil & gas environments
Proven experience in HSE compliance audits and incident investigations
Experience working with IMS frameworks (ISO 45001 ISO 14001 ISO 9001 preferred)
Strong English communication skills
