Radiology Technologist Travel Assignment

Location: Hopedale Illinois
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray Fluoroscopy CT and Surgical imaging while ensuring patient safety imaging quality and excellent patient care.

This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures including X-ray Fluoroscopy CT and Surgical imaging
• Review patient requisitions and verify examination accuracy and demographic information
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of support and restraint devices when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within hospital computer systems
• Review completed examinations for technical accuracy and communicate findings appropriately
• Ensure proper anatomical orientation and image identification on all studies
• Perform computer operations for exam documentation and charge entry
• Prioritize patient care based on urgency and physician orders
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff members
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital confidentiality standards
• Support department and office-related duties as needed
• Maintain punctuality professionalism and department standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited/approved School of Radiology
• ARRT (R) Certification required
• Active Illinois Radiology License required
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification required
• Strong patient care and communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/AED Certification
• CT Certification
• Previous hospital-based radiology experience preferred
