Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Honolulu Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week 8-Hour Rotating Shifts Weekend Coverage Required
Weekly Pay: $1500 $1725 (Based on Experience)
Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a travel assignment in Honolulu Hawaii. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong laboratory skills experience in specimen processing and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and specimen analysis with accuracy
- Process and document specimen results in a timely manner
- Maintain laboratory records and ensure proper documentation
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment following quality standards
- Adhere to safety guidelines infection control and laboratory protocols
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii State MLT License required
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Experience working in a back lab setting is a plus
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekend schedules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
