In this roleyou will contribute to the effective delivery of housing supply across Aotearoa working as part of a team to negotiate advise and provide strategic insights into housing will be responsible for:
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to negotiate and evaluate new funding applications for housing supply. You will support the assessment of value for money providing financial analysis and recommendations to inform decision-making
- Applyingknowledgeof the commercial environment property and project finance toanalyse the structures and cost of housing development project proposals
- Identifying commercial and financial risks related to housing projects and recommending actions to mitigate risks
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects from across the organisation where your skills may be required and informing policy settings as relevant
- Engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships that support the successful delivery of housing initiatives.
The salary range for this role is $105780 - $% Kiwisaver contribution.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in finance banking accounting or property development tojoin our Delivery team.
What youll bring to the role:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. finance economics property planning or commerce)
- Demonstrated financial viability skillset including the ability to assess affordability sustainability and value for money across housing or infrastructure initiatives
- Strong understanding of a broad range of housing solutions including negotiating and evaluating funding models and undertaking financial and commercial analysis
- Sound understanding of property or project finance with experience conducting financial analysis in the property housing or infrastructure sectors (e.g. cashflow modelling unit cost analysis scenario testing)
- Good working knowledge of Excel including financial modelling and analysis
- Ability to apply critical thinking challenge assumptions test financial and commercial viability and work effectively in environments with ambiguity
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial and commercial information into clear concise advice for nonfinancial audiences
A proven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
