Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Adviser Funding and Planning to join the Strategy and Planning team on a permanent full-time contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate complex data and performance information into clear actionable insights for leaders and operational teams.
• Partner with departments across the University to design refine and embed meaningful KPIs that support performance management decisionmaking and accountability.
• Provide advice on funding conditions attached to TEC funding and ensure that there are processes in place to comply with all conditions.

You will be a motivated detail-focused individual who can take the initiative and work across several teams to develop and deliver key performance information and planning insights.

Key requirements:

• Demonstratedexperience supporting the development of planning documents such as annual reports and investment plans.
• Demonstrated experience developing and measuring key performance indicators.
• Previous experience providing advice on regulatory compliance and funding in the tertiary sector.
• Previous experience working with a data warehouse or authoring SQL reports to support performance monitoring.
