CGIs Banking & Capital Markets practice works with leading financial institutions to design implement operate and support mission-critical applications that power trading risk management regulatory reporting and operational workflows. Your future duties and responsibilities:

Role Overview
As a Murex Credit/Rates Functional Support Analyst on the Front Office team you will be part of a critical support function for a major financial institutions capital markets application built on the Murex MX.3 platform. This platform supports real-time pricing risk analytics profit & loss calculation sensitivity reporting and regulatory reporting across Credit and Rates derivatives.
This role involves working directly with traders sales teams and technology partners to ensure the capital markets application remains reliable accurate and highly available in a 24/7 global trading environment spanning Asia Europe and North America.

What Youll Do
Act as the primary functional support contact for Front Office users (e.g. traders and sales) ensuring proactive clear communication with stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve production incidents affecting the Murex capital markets application in collaboration with global Murex support and development teams.
Perform daily operational system checks and help maintain stability of the production environment for risk and pricing workflows.
Partner with developers to implement long-term fixes enhancements and improvements to the platform.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce system issues and enhance user satisfaction.
Work within a follow-the-sun support model collaborating with teams in Paris New York Hong Kong and Bangalore.
Deliver training and create documentation for end users of the capital markets system.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments with emphasis on Credit Derivatives Fixed Income Repos and Interest Rate Derivatives.
Solid knowledge of vanilla products valuation principles and risk sensitivities.
Experience supporting Front Office traders in high-pressure trading environments.
Functional knowledge of Murex MX.3 Front Office modules such as Pricing Simulation Market Data and Standard Reports.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; offshore support experience is a plus.
English fluency required; French is an asset and may be required due to the roles bilingual interactions.
