Senior Federal Financial Consultant – Momentum ERP

Job Summary
Position Description:
CGI is actively seeking a Senior Federal Financial Consultant Momentum ERP to join the team supporting an agency with improving their finance and accounting business and systems processes. The member would join a well-established team in support of a dynamic task to support the clients efforts to prepare for the generation of financial statements and associated audit. The member would get the chance to work closely with and learn from team members with significant federal financial management expertise as they complete analysis recommend and assist in implementing Momentum-related improvements and provide documentation and training to the client. This is a phenomenal client-facing opportunity to expand your federal financial management and consulting experience.
This position is located in our Fairfax VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
1) Recommend and support the implementation of Momentum system configuration and other modifications including facilitating meetings analysis testing and documentation/training.
2) Support Momentum testing activities including developing test cases and performing testing.
3) Document Momentum-related issues and resolutions process maps standard operating procedures as well as other documentation as needed clearly and concisely.
4) Conduct Momentum-related business process reengineering (BPR) including analyzing current state recommending improvements and assisting with implementing improvements.
5) Perform general ledger analysis and reconciliation identifying transactional issues and recommending solutions including Momentum system posting model updates following Treasurys United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) guidelines.
6) Support Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS) and financial statement reporting including analyzing issues reviewing Momentum system configuration and recommending changes.
7) Support financial statement audit preparation including identifying issues and data cleansing.
8) Assist with preparing training materials and conducting informal and formal training as needed.
9) Facilitate client meetings and document outcomes of those meetings as needed.
10) Participate in client business development activities including presentations and proposals.
11) Proactively identify business opportunities that improve client outcomes and best-in-class innovations and solutions that can support client mission.
12) Build strong consulting skills and relevant domain knowledge.
13) Develop strong positive relationships with clients.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5 years of Momentum Experience
Federal financial management knowledge
Software Testing experience

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79600.00 - $172400.00.
