R&D Specialist (mfd) Brazil

• Analyze product cost structures (BOM) to identify cost drivers and value improvement opportunities
• Develop cost models and benchmarking analyses to support data-driven decisions
• Evaluate technical feasibility and financial impact of cost optimization initiatives (e.g. ROI payback)
• Collaborate with engineering procurement and manufacturing to implement value engineering and design-to-cost measures
• Provide cost analysis to support product development design changes and sourcing decisions
• Lead or support value analysis workshops and prepare business cases for improvement initiatives
• Maintain cost databases and benchmarking data to ensure transparency and comparability
• Track implementation progress and validate realized savings

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial Production or related field)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills including cost breakdown analysis cost modeling and financial evaluation (ROI payback margin impact)
• Solid understanding of engineering principles materials manufacturing processes and product structures (BOM analysis)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to present technical and financial insights clearly
• Fluent in English
• Analytical detail-oriented and curious mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization
