Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care and support services in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting safety dignity and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing feeding toileting ambulation and personal hygiene
• Support nursing staff with basic medical procedures and post-surgical care
• Monitor and report changes in residents physical and mental conditions
• Obtain and document vital signs intake/output and specimen collections
• Maintain accurate medical records and worksheets
• Assist residents during meals and support dietary needs
• Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations
• Maintain clean safe and sanitary resident care areas
• Assist with transportation clerical duties and other support tasks as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and workplace process initiatives

Requirements:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and patient safety practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
• Ability to establish effective working relationships within a healthcare team
• Experience in long-term care rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
