How you will create an impact
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager Pacific this role will support with the attraction of top talent in the Insurance industry across Australia and New Zealand. AIG is a leading global insurer with a primary focus on corporate solutions for businesses in the Pacific region. This Talent Acquisition Coordinator role is an ideal opportunity to broaden your experience and further develop your expertise across both Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Support end-to-end recruitment for Australia and New Zealand to ensure current and future hiring needs are met in a timely effective and efficient manner
Collaborate closely with HR partners and hiring managers to proactively identify and target top talent
Help drive a culture of Diversity & Inclusion
Take initiative in identifying and improving internal processes
Maintain the integrity & accuracy of our employee management system by ensuring that hiring activity information is updated in a timely manner
Support adherence to all compliance legal and regulatory requirements ensuring optimal TA operational efficiency and 100% compliance for all TA activities in these markets
Work with our HR Shared Service team on new hire Background Checks and liaising with the vendor
Onboarding of employees to ensure all paperwork is returned in a timely manner
Ensure all documentation is stored in accordance with the Document Retention Policy
Communicate professionally and effectively with candidates and hiring managers in order to maintain a positive hiring experience
Respond to and resolve queries promptly and accurately via phone or email from recruiting managers direct applicants and agency suppliers regarding the recruitment process
Ensure strict adherence to confidential data regulations and processes
Provide general administrative support and complete any ad-hoc activity as advised by the Talent Acquisition Manager Pacific
What youll need to succeed
Ideal role for someone with 1-2 years of Recruitment Resourcer or Coordinator experience
A passion for proactively talent mapping and strategically recruiting top talent
Knowledge of HR/Recruitment processes or experience within an HR administrative environment is an advantage
Prior exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes
Demonstrated experience and success with creative sourcing methods
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail time management and demonstrated team player
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office Word / Outlook /Excel/PowerPoint
