Job Description
Principales responsabilitésSurveille lactivité sur le plancher de production et sassure que le personnel de lusine respecte les lignes directrices de sécurité du CHEP.
Menez des enquêtes sur les accidents et recueillez toutes les informations pour les rapports ICare et CNESST
Surveille les plans de travail modifiés assurant la liaison avec les travailleurs superviseurs et professionnels de la santé afin dassurer un retour sécuritaire et durable
Conformité : Assure ladhésion organisationnelle aux politiques de la CNESST et aux règlements de santé et sécurité et sécurité.
Champions du parcours 5S
Met en œuvre toutes les stratégies et initiatives du programme GAP (programme de sécurité CHEP).
Suivez la performance en matière de sécurité et faites-le rapport aux superviseurs et à la direction.
Soutient et met en œuvre la formation et le développement des membres de léquipe afin de respecter les directives de santé sécurité et environnement des entreprises.
Maintenez les documents de sécurité pour tout le personnel de quart.
Participez au comité de sécurité et examinez toutes les préoccupations et risques en matière de sécurité ou environnementaux en cours et élaborez des plans datténuation en conséquence.
Soutenir et parfois diriger des projets de groupe visant les systèmes de sécurité et lamélioration de la fabrication.
Travailler avec le superviseur HSE et la direction du site pour gérer les risques liés à lusine.
Faites une formation dorientation sur la sécurité et des visites guidées pour tous les nouveaux employés.
Contribue à lamélioration continue de lusine et à renforcer les politiques procédures et systèmes internes en matière de sécurité.
Assumez les responsabilités SSL pour le quart de travail correspondant.
Expérience
Expérience préalable dans un rôle de sécurité dans un environnement manufacturier
Forte orientation client
Succès démontré dans la mise en place de relations solides avec les employés
Capacité démontrée à travailler de façon transversale
Expérience en surveillance de la performance et des programmes HSE
Compétences et connaissances
Capacité à gérer les processus de qualité et à mobiliser une équipe
Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en pensée stratégique
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft (Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)

Échelle salariale de base : $52240 to $71830 par an

Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Work with the management team to monitor work activities ensuring all plant personnel operate within prescribed safety guidelines and follow best practices for safety and environmental compliance.
- Empower colleagues to participate in safety performance by promoting the Human and Organizational Performance (Safety Differently) ethos to ensure learning is maximized in preference to discipline.
- Carry out investigations from reported hazard and near miss reports and identify opportunities for solutions to improve safety culture.
- Ensure emergency protocols are in place and understood by all employees
- Assist in maintaining compliance with HSE regulations and ensure adherence to GAP safety and environmental SOPs.
- Facilitate and support training and development to ensure colleagues are able to meet HSE standards ensuring plant personnel are up-to-date on basic safety requirements.
- Maintain safety documentation and records for plant personnel ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Regional HSE Specialist and site leadership to identify and mitigate plant risks implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct safety orientations and walkthroughs for new hires promoting a strong culture of safety from day one.
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Monitors production floor activity and ensure plant personnel operate within CHEP safety guidelines.
- Conduct Accident investigations and gather all the info for ICare and CNESST reporting
- Monitors modified work plans liaising with workers supervisors and healthcare providers to ensure a safe sustainable return
- Compliance:Ensures organizational adherence to CNESST policies and OH&S regulations.
- Champions the 5S journey
- Executes all GAP (CHEP safety program) strategies and program initiatives.
- Track performance on safety and report to supervisors and management.
- Supports and executes the training and development of team members to meet corporate health safety and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain safety documents for all shift personnel.
- Participate in the safety committee and review all pending safety or environmental concerns risks and develop mitigation plans accordingly.
- Support and at times lead group projects targeting safety systems and manufacturing improvements.
- Work with HSE Supervisor and site leadership to address plant risks.
- Perform orientation safety training and walkthroughs for all new hires.
- Contributes to driving continuous improvement at the plant and strengthen internal policies procedures and systems around safety.
- Assume SSL responsibilities for respective shift.

- Prior experience in a safety role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong customer focus orientation
- Demonstrated success in delivering strong employee relations
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience monitoring HSE performance and programs
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to manage quality processes and motivate a team

The salary range for this position is $52240 to $71830 per ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
