[XC] Business Unit Digital Office Senior IT Specialist – Security, Projects & Operational Management
Job Summary
Job Description
This role encompasses information security coordination IT project management development system integration and operational management support within the BDO group of XC Japan. You will coordinate security and compliance requirements between central and local levels manage IT projects end-to-end as both customer-side and supplier-side project manager consult on and facilitate integrated development environments and support the group manager with administrative and managerial tasks. You serve as a key bridge between technical suppliers functional departments and global governance structures navigating complex stakeholder landscapes across cultures and organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Compliance
- You will coordinate and align local systems with central governance requirements manage relationships with your on-site security provider and monitor cloud systems for compliance gaps. For example when departments propose new cloud solutions you will provide initial security guidance and coordinate with the central department for detailed review. When central security findings arise you will track local remediation clarify requirements and bridge communication between teams and governance.
- You will participate in central security meetings contribute actively to discussions and stay current with evolving regulations. You will translate key takeaways and regulatory updates into targeted awareness initiatives for the local division through newsletters direct outreach to cloud solution owners and tailored training sessions.
Project Management & Requirements Translation
- You will manage IT projects as customer-side or supplier-side project manager depending on whether projects are triggered locally or centrally. This includes project planning budget estimation capacity allocation and risk management.
- You will translate functional department requirements into technical specifications for suppliers and vice versa. For example you will meet with internal departments to understand their business needs for IT solutions then explain what technical approaches are feasible. When central technical changes occur you will assess the functional implications for local operations and communicate those impacts to stakeholders. If technical possibilities arent immediately clear you will leverage global contacts to identify feasible approaches and translate those back into how they address the departments functional requirements.
- You will coordinate regularly with internal and external suppliers through meetings to identify impediments resolve blockers and drive activities forward.
Development System Integration
- You will identify and enable integration needs for customer projects that directly impact how products are developed collaboratively between Bosch engineering teams external customers and external suppliers.
- You will consult with project stakeholders on technical solutions and proactively engage with partners and vendors to facilitate seamless collaboration while maintaining data security.
Operational and Administrative Support
- You will take ownership of defined operational initiatives within agreed scope-such as cost management programs or infrastructure rollouts - and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
- You will facilitate cross-departmental communication and identify and resolve gaps in processes or responsibilities. You will proactively reach out to department managers and stakeholders to understand their business needs identify digitalization and IT potentials-both visible and latent-assess how solutions can address them and drive identified initiatives forward.
- You will exercise autonomous decision-making on all operational and administrative matters escalating only when external constraints or strategic guidance from management is required.

Qualifications :
Academic and Professional Background
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field with experience in information security IT project management or development environments or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Background in information security risk management and compliance; familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Experience working in or with global organizations navigating central and local governance structures.
Technical Competencies
- Solid understanding of cloud security controls monitoring and compliance auditing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of development tools platforms and development environment architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools is preferred.
Project Management Coordination & Operational Skills
- Experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with project planning tools such as network diagrams risk matrices and stakeholder mapping.
- Ability to translate between technical and business language.
- Experience coordinating with internal customers and external suppliers
- Comfort organizing initiatives meetings and cross-functional engagement.
- Sound judgment in administrative and operational decision-making.
Languages and Communication
- TOEIC 800 or higher for professional English proficiency.
- N2 Japanese proficiency or higher mandatory.
- Ability to communicate security and technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of intercultural communication across high-context and low-context cultures.
