Job Summary
Take ownership of costing stock and operational profitability in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded Cost Accountant who enjoys building systems improving operational efficiency and influencing business performance beyond the finance function. Join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business currently undergoing a major operational growth phase.This is not a traditional finance role hidden behind spreadsheets. The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of finance procurement operations and supply chain playing a key role in stock optimisation costing accuracy import planning and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control stock valuation reconciliations and reporting
- Develop and maintain accurate product costing models and margin analysis
- Drive stock optimisation stock turns and working capital efficiency
- Align procurement planning with production requirements and demand forecasting
- Strengthen costing stock and operational processes within Business Central
- Support import-driven procurement initiatives through forecasting and planning
- Partner with procurement production and management teams operationally
- Assist with the commissioning and operational readiness of the new manufacturing facility
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom / Finance / Cost & Management Accounting qualification advantageous
- CIMA / SAIPA / SAICA advantageous
- Proven experience within Cost Accounting Inventory Management or Procurement Finance
- Strong understanding of stock control demand planning forecasting and supply chain processes
- Manufacturing or industrial industry exposure highly advantageous
- ERP systems experience essential
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central advantageous
- Strong analytical ability with a systems-driven and commercially minded approach
- Ability to operate in a hands-on fast-paced high-growth environment
