Job Summary
A well-established and growing business within the FMCG sector with operations spanning farming and distribution is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on detail-oriented finance professional to work in a fast-paced environment where operational efficiency and commercial insight are key.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial accounting function up to trial balance
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Handle VAT and statutory submissions
- Assist with budgets forecasts and cash flow management
- Support costing and margin analysis within the FMCG and farming operations
- Monitor and improve financial controls and processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders suppliers and external auditors
- Assist with year-end audits and compliance requirements
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant Accounting qualification (BCom or similar)
- 35 years experience in a financial accounting role
- Previous experience in FMCG agriculture farming or distribution highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
