Job Summary
Are you a hands-on Cost Management Accountant with strong exposure to mining processing plants or heavy industry This is a rare opportunity to join a large-scale operation where your financial insights and operational understanding will directly influence strategic and operational decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Full cost management accounting function across the operation
- Delivering accurate operational and corporate reporting
- Providing detailed cost analysis variance reporting and financial insights
- Partnering with 510 senior operational leaders to support strategic decision-making
- Monitoring and managing cost structures within a large workforce environment (approximately 53000 employees)
- Supporting budgeting forecasting and operational planning processes
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data
Minimum Requirements
- BCom or BCom Honours in:
- Accounting
- Management Accounting
- Cost Accounting
- 68 years experience in Cost or Management Accounting
- Minimum 23 years experience at a senior level
- Proven experience within:
- Mining
- Processing Plants
- Heavy Industry
- Strong costing experience within complex operational environments
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering ability
