Youll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge including:

• Working closely with the Financial Directors and Heads of Finance to analyse monthly results and performance against budget and prior year highlighting variances and providing explanations to support the CFO in reporting results both internal and external.
• Assisting with the design preparation and automatization of detailed financial reports and analysis to provide management with accurate and timely information for decision-making purposes.
• Compiling of analysis and writing of commentary for SEC and other regulatory reporting including MD&A in the SEC filings and Board reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models evaluate investment opportunities and assess the financial impact of business initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for the executive team and board reporting with the focus on value adding commentary.
• Conduct ad hoc project work which may include for example thorough financial research and analysis on industry trends competitors and market conditions such as changes in regulations and entering new markets to support strategic planning.
• Work closely with the senior management and FDs to assist in ad hoc projects to improve procedures/Sox reporting/month end process for example.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Using planning methods like predictive planning driver-based planning and multi-scenario planning to create financial forecasts.
