The Visual Arts Malaysiaisa passionate team within the PlayStation family provides world-class content development and services to PlayStations studios all over the world. The position of Project Manageris an active member of the production group and willassistthe project or department to which they are assigned to ensure thetimelyand cost-effective execution of a scope of are an intermediate position with a focus on evolving into a more senior position and take on more differentiation between the two roles is the amount of experience and multidisciplineexpertisethat the individual candidate upon those factors the roles and candidates title would be the final consideration in determination if the individual is a Project Manager or Associate Project could be considered that a Project Manager might be able to run a smaller production scope of work without a Senior Project Manager but an Associate may not have the full skill set to be the main point of contact on a production.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day development roadmap task backlog and sprint planning to ensure the team meets scheduled milestones.

• Coordinate closely with leadstomonitordaily task progressoptimizecapacity andmaintaina sustainablevelocity.

• Build andmaintainproject schedules tracking resourceallocationand deliverables against timelines and budgets.

• Lead daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and tasks prioritization discussions.

• Activelyidentifyproduction bottlenecks dependencies and risks working with Senior Project Managers and studio management toimplement mitigation plans.

• Serve as a key point of contact for external vendors managing routine delivery updates assets handoffs and feedback loops.

• Maintain and communicate progress blockers and status reports to stakeholders.

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least3 yearsofexperience as a Project Managerwithin the video game or a related industry(such as VFX or animation).

• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and technical workflow.

• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies alongsideproficiencyin production tools (Jira Confluence Flow Excel Miro or equivalents).

• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills attention to detail processknowledgeand the ability to multi-task.

• Ability to remain focused structured and collaborative in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
