What this role is all about:

The Credit Solutions Managerprovides expert credit structuring and underwriting support to the Commercial Banking team ensuring strong portfolio performance and compliance with Beems credit standards. This role focuses on analyzing complex credit requests structuring solutions that meet member needs organizational profitabilityneeds andorganizational riskappetite andmentoringassociate underwriters. TheCredit Solutions Managerplays a key role in driving Beems growth and financial wellnessobjectivesthrough digital-first processes and collaborative partnerships.

This is a hybrid role and will cover the Kamloops to Prince George region.

What youll do:

Credit Structuring & Underwriting

• Analyze financial statements appraisals and environmental reports to assess creditworthiness and risk.
• Structure and prepare commercial loan applications and memorandums in compliance with Beems credit policies.
• Collaborate withRelationshipManagers to jointlysubmitapplications and ensuretimelyfundingofapproved loans.
• Recommend loan submissions based on Credit Unionestablishedpolicies and pricing.

Portfolio Management

• Monitor portfolio quality exposure limits and security requirements to safeguard Beems assets.
• Manage annual reviews and renewals for assigned portfolio ensuring covenant compliance and risk mitigation.
• Assist in complicated credit structuring with Commercial Relationship Managers.

Compliance & Risk Oversight

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Beems risk management framework.
• Implement procedures to minimize loan and revenue loss through early identification of risks.
• Review appraiser and quantity surveyor progress reports and prepare construction draw recommendations.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor and coach Credit Solutions Associates providing onboarding and credit training.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver seamless service and support business growth objectives.
• Maintain and develop a small portfolio of clients ensuring exceptional service and relationship management.

What youll bring:

• Post-secondary education in financial accounting or related field required; Business undergraduate degree preferred.
• 4-5 years in financial services environment with 2-3 years in commercial or business lending.
• Advanced knowledge of credit analysis structuring and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and financial analysis tools.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $92200 to $115200
