Position: Customer Sales & Service Representative

Job Location: Edmonton Alberta

Job Type: Full-Time

Status: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Role

The function of the Customer Sales and Service Representative is to provide direct support to the Branch Managers and Sales Representatives in the ongoing development of existing and prospective LGG Industrial customers to ensure that the Branchis able tomeet its growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Mustmaintain100% commitment to safety policies and procedures

  • Partners with Sales Representatives to provide sales quotes

  • Processes incoming inquiries into company sales system

  • Quotescustomers using working knowledge of product

  • Successfully achieves budgeted Branch sales goals

  • Assists A/R personnel in creating andestablishingnew accounts and follows up on collections

  • Coordinates with Sales Representatives and Branch management to keep account activities updated

  • Monitors delivery date commitments andexpediteswhere appropriate

  • Monitors customer specific inventory for sales order fulfillment

  • Builds andmaintainsstrong internal and external relationships

  • Provides technical/service support to account management branchmanagementand internal and external customers

  • Perform other duties as trained and qualified for

  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Requiresa proficiencyin math skills including addition subtractionmultiplicationand division in units of measure

  • Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbersfractionsand decimals.

  • Moderate computer skills including MS Word Excel internet customerportalsand email

  • Mustbe able to successfullyutilizethe company software

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year Business to Business Customer Service Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Moderate computer skills including MS Word Excel internet customerportalsand email

  • Ability to perform basic math

  • Ability to work overtime as

  • Background checks and drug screening may be(by Company Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment asorpermittedby law)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in industrial distribution

  • Previousexperienceutilizingan ERP system

  • Product knowledge in hosegasketand conveyor systems a plus

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position is primarily based in an office environment but may occasionally require visits to the warehouse for order-related follow-ups.The warehouse environment may include fluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold) varying noise levels exposure to dust and other typical elements of an active industrial environment.Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals with disabilities in performing the essential functions of this role.
