Inventory Clerk | Stock Clerk

Job Summary

FlexForce Pros is seeking an experienced Inventory Stock Room Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity maintaining and updating parts inventory in SAP and Fiix. Contact vendors to request quotes for materials. Work with plant accounts payable clerk to resolve invoice payment issues realted to POs.

Job Duties

• Assemble tool/part kit for technicians for daily workorders coming from the CMMS perform 10% cyclic monthly inventory of storeroom requesting parts be re-ordered as needed.

• Monitor storeroom security and maintain keys for storeroom access.

• Assuring technicians sign out on signature cards for tools/parts kits for accountability.

• Must be computer literate (spreadsheet word processing PM software etc.) and capable of handling multiple priorities; multi tasking.

• This position will require a high level of storeroom organization and creative thinking.

• This is a fast -paced industrial environment and will require the individual to adapt to the circumstances.

• Receive MRO physically in and the paperwork immediately matched up and brought to the front office daily.

• Put repair parts in their proper locations and maintain inventory.

• Keep all inventory parts locations straight and organized.

• Receive in and keep track of all projects related parts and equipment and keep it all together and organized for the project.

• Maintain the inventory and keep it properly labeled and organized with documented locations.

• Keep up with all outside vendor contracts. These will require communication with the front office staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

• High School Education or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Make parts runs when needed during normal work hours and after hours.

• Work occasional OT and weekends especially during large capital outages. This position will not be a solid 7am-3pm work schedule flexibility will be needed.

• Maintain and sign out storeroom tool crib tooling and rigging and have returned at the end of the day before maintenance goes home.

• Be available for occasional call-ins for parts during break down situations.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software specifically Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

• SAP experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for long periods of time standing walking crouching reaching crawling climbing ladders stairs and kneeling.

• Able to work in hot and cold temperatures for an extended period of time.

• Lifting boxes up to 50 pounds unassisted.

• Housekeeping.

• Follow all safety rules and always wear appropriate PPE.
