Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler I
You will help the team produce and assemble small mechanical and electromechanical components to meet quality and throughput targets. Your work directly supports production lines and downstream assembly or testing teams in an onsite manufacturing environment. This role runs a 4/10 first shift schedule (MondayThursday 5:00am3:30pm) at the site in Simi Valley CA.
Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components per written instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct operation sequence
- Position very small parts using microscopes tweezers or fixtures and solder or bond components as required
- Adjust bend align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts; apply epoxies and use ovens or direct heating as needed
- Conduct in-process testing and follow safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance; adapt to variable schedules nights weekends or additional hours as required
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 12 years of relevant hands-on experience in assembly or related work
- Effective oral written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify issues and take corrective action using existing procedures
- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Vocational training apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a related field
- Good mechanical aptitude manual dexterity and ability to work with very small parts
- Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery; basic math skills; ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions

Pay Range
$11.94 - $14.93/hour
