Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range: $30.00 $42.00/hour (based on experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hour
Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus:
$10000 for Day Shift
$15000 for Night Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (RN) to join a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. This opportunity is within a large trauma and specialty care facility known for advanced patient care services and collaborative clinical teams.
The RN will provide direct patient care coordinate treatment plans administer medications and support patients and families throughout the healthcare experience while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans for Medical Surgical patients
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
Monitor patient conditions vital signs and treatment responses
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians case managers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with infection control safety and quality care standards
Provide compassionate patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care setting
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License required
Candidates holding a compact license must obtain active Florida licensure within required timeframe after hire
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
BSN preferred
Current AHA BLS Certification required
Acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
Recent LTAC-only experience will not be considered
Strong critical thinking communication and patient care skills required
Basic computer and electronic medical record documentation skills required
Additional Requirements:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be maintained according to facility guidelines
Onsite interview required as part of the hiring process
Rotating weekends required
