SITE ENGINEER (Site-Based East Malaysia)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to be based in East Malaysia to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure smooth project execution. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being on-site coordinating with contractors and gaining practical construction experience.

Our Client is a professional Prestressing Specialist Contractor providing innovative designs using their Prestressing technology on bridges elevated viaducts high rise buildings and special structures. Our philosophy is to provide specialist bridge products construction methodology and design solutions that match clients aspirations.

You will play a key role in managing daily site activities coordinating materials and schedules and ensuring works are carried out according to drawings and specifications. This is a long-term site-based role where you will gain valuable exposure to real-world project execution and site management.

What You Will Learn & Do:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and monitor work progress
• Coordinate with contractors on materials schedules and site requirements
• Assist in checking works against drawings and technical specifications
• Gain hands-on experience in site coordination and project execution
• Identify and resolve day-to-day site challenges
• Prepare daily site updates and progress reports
• Learn practical construction sequencing and site management
• Work closely with experienced project teams and contractors

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• 13 years of site experience preferred (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Willing to be based in Limbang Sarawak for long-term project (approximately 2-3 years)
• Comfortable working in a site-based hands-on environment
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Responsible proactive and willing to learn
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
• Willing to travel between site and KL for reporting when required
